Carolyn Williams, a Partner with the firm Lember And Williams has been in practice since 1982. She is passionate about law. "It's all about obtaining practical commercial and effective solutions for our clients. We pride ourselves on being accessible and responsive to client needs."
Carolyn worked on a Royal Commission and as a Lawyer for the Federal Government before joining a large city Brisbane firm where she was a Senior Associate in Commercial Litigation and Employment Law. She has been a member of a number of professional groups and community organisations and is a Director of the Maleny Credit Union.
Carolyn left the large city law firm to move to Maleny with her husband and children.
The firm Lember And Williams, which she and her business partner Michelle Lember (also a former city corporate lawyer) established is distinguished by its level of expertise and by its four senior lawyers who are all women providing the level of expertise expected in city firms but on a more accessible personalised basis. In fact the firm's entire workforce, which includes seven support staff is female. That was not by design, but as Carolyn points out, it is a tremendous place to work, with highly motivated individuals. "Women can have an active and successful work and home life. Our firm proves that."
Lember And Williams, referred to as "The LAW Team", has in recent times expanded to more effectively service the Sunshine Coast with three offices in Kawana, Caboolture and Maleny. "We are highly accessible to our clients. We provide a very high level of expertise and service and our clients have experienced partners or associates working directly on their matters."
Carolyn was recently recognised by the Law Society for 25 years of service to the legal profession, a true milestone.
